Bristol Hospice is seeking veterans to provide companionship to fellow veterans. Veteran volunteers can relate to the stories told, share their own experiences, and empathize with our veteran patients in a unique way. Therefore, we hope you will consider spending an hour a week for with a one-year commitment to companion a fellow veteran. Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area at various care facilities or in their homes, so you can be matched with a patient in a location near you. Meanwhile, our Volunteer Coordinator provides excellent training and supervision and is always available to support you and answer any questions. We hope you will consider joining our team of compassionate caregivers to make a difference in a fellow veteran’s life.

Description
Bristol Hospice - Denver provides compassionate, competent care to patients enrolled with us for comfort care at the end-of-life. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers strives to meet the needs of our patients and their families in a holistic manner. We collaborate to enhance our patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our service area includes the Denver metro area, from Castle Rock to Longmont. We visit our patients in their homes, assisted living, or skilled nursing communities.
