Suncrest Hospice is seeking veterans to provide companionship to fellow veterans. Veteran volunteers can relate to the stories told, share their own experiences, and empathize with our veteran patients in a unique way. Therefore, we hope you will consider spending an hour a week for with a one-year commitment to companion a fellow veteran. Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area at various care facilities or in their homes, so you can be matched with a patient in a location near you. Meanwhile, our Volunteer Coordinator provides excellent training and supervision and is always available to support you and answer any questions. We hope you will consider joining our team of compassionate caregivers to make a difference in a fellow veteran’s life.
