Through our after school program you have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better through time spent in positive and constructive activities that empower them to become successful adults. After school programs will take place in locations across Tulsa. If you would like to become a New Hope Volunteer, we would love to have you!

Monday & Friday: New Hope Facility 4:30-6:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday - Eugene Field & New Hope Facility 3:00-4:30 PM

Mission Statement

New Hope Oklahoma works to break the cycle of generational incarceration for youth experiencing the trauma of parental separation by activating and organizing local resources to provide after-school programs, summer camps, and community events to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of youth and families.

Description

New Hope Oklahoma is a Tulsa-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to children with parents in prison. Our programs consist of summer camps, after-school programs, community-based programs, weekend retreats, family gatherings, and case management services. All programs are offered free of charge to qualifying children. These programs are possible through individual and corporate donations, foundational and federal grants, trained volunteers and a highly qualified staff.

  • The schedule for after school programming follows the Tulsa Public Schools calendar. The volunteer times will be between 3:00-5:00pm Mon-Fri. Volunteers can choose what day(s) they would like to volunteer for and stick with that day every week.
