The North Oakland Headwaters Land Conservancy (NOHLC) is looking for ten (10) volunteers to help us during our annual Wild Night Out fundraising gala. Volunteers will help with raffle ticket sales (selling, collecting names and money), Wine Pull sales (selling the opportunity to buy a bottle of wine and collecting money) and helping during the silent and live auctions (spotters). The time listed for the event includes an on-site volunteer orientation before the event begins at 6:00p.

Mission Statement
We are a community-based land conservancy, dedicated to protecting the unique character of the natural resources and quality of life, for the communities and future generations of Northwest Oakland County. We accomplish this by acquiring land and property easements with the intent of conserving the woods, fields, streams, wetlands and other natural features in the headwaters areas of the Clinton, Shiawassee, Huron, and Flint rivers.
Description
The Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy is a private, non-profit, member supported, citizen run organization with over 40 years’ experience in preserving open space in northwest Oakland County. Over 1,400 acres have been preserved in six townships, with parcels ranging from 1/2 acre to over 100 acres. And we are still going strong!
