Our Barge
Known as the only industrial strength river cleanup organization of our kind, LL&W's barge serves not only as our home while we travel, but also where we host students/educators in our one of a kind floating classroom.

LL&W operates off of a one-of-a-kind fleet of barges, on which we host community-based river cleanups and educational workshops on our floating classroom. Come for a ride on our boats where we will get into the back water locations, and up pick garbage off of the banks of the Ohio River!

We will typically host 2 cleanups per day, Tuesday - Saturday. One from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm and one from 12:30 pm - 4pm, with lunch provided for all volunteers for morning cleanups. Volunteers can sign up for a half-day, or both sessions!

We welcome individuals, business groups, clubs, scouts, or camps, and can accommodate groups up to 50 volunteers! We suggest volunteers should be 13+ to volunteer alone, and 8+ with parent/guardian supervision, but can make circumstantial exceptions.

We provide all necessary materials including: trash bags, gloves, life jackets, water, sunscreen, bug spray etc.
