Hospice Vet to Vet Program
Ascend Hospice is seeking military veterans and interested civilians to provide companionship and support to military veterans on our hospice service through our Veteran to Veteran Program. American Veterans may have unique needs at the end of life; needs that are influenced by how they entered their military experience, combat experience, when their experience took place, their branch and rank, POW status, and if they have symptoms of or a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder diagnosis. We are looking for any individuals who have a particular interest in helping this population.
