Volunteers perform a variety of tasks at the NWA Food Bank including sorting food from food drives, cleaning to ensure compliance with safety standards, sorting bread and produce for distribution, and building boxes of food to be given out through our Mobile Pantry program.

Description

The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank has serviced the area for 30 years and acts a food distributor for 160 partner agencies in Benton, Carroll, Madison, & Washington counties. Our organization services around 65,000 food insecure people throughout those counties. Arkansas has the second highest food insecurity rate in the U.S., followed only by Mississippi. The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank would love your help to not only help those in our area, but assist the state as a whole.
