About the 2020 Twin Cities Tour de Cure:
The Twin Cities Tour begins and ends at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. We're offering six cycling routes to choose from between 10 and 100 miles, as well as 5k and 10k walking and running options. All routes are well marked and fully supported with rest stops, SAG wagons, mechanical support and plentiful food and beverage. Participants enjoy an awesome party at the finish with lunch, beer, vendors, massages, youth activities and more! Many Roads. One Purpose. Learn more at www.diabetes.org/twincitiestourdecure
All proceeds from this event benefit the American Diabetes Association's important mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
Volunteer Positions:
We're looking for ongoing volunteers for our event planning committee (typically 50+ members). Sub-committees offer a variety of volunteer roles focusing on certain areas such as route planning and marking, food for rest stops/lunch, party planning, day-of volunteer recruitment, and retention and acquisition of participants.
