Pathway Homes has hosted in the Help the Homeless 5k Walk for nearly 20 years and is aiming to raise more than $100k at the walk to directly fund the critical housing needs of people with mental illnesses - and volunteers are an essential part of this amazing event!
We are recruiting volunteers for various placements throughout the day. Please let us know your shift preference when you register. Some shifts will fill up before others; please be flexible!
- Shift 1: Event Set-up (6:30 AM - 9:30 AM) - Help us setup for the event! Duties could include unloading supplies, setting up tables/tents, registration, and helping to direct traffic (20 Volunteer Spaces)
- Shift 2: Event Implementation (8:00 AM - 11:30 AM) - Help us to direct walkers along the route and cheer walkers on! (80 Volunteer Spaces)

Pathway Homes is a non-profit organization providing non-time-limited housing and support services to adults with mental illness. Pathways serves individuals throughout Fairfax County, the City of Fairfax, the City of Falls Church, Prince William County and Arlington.
