During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Ace of Hearts is a non-profit rescue that saves dogs who are in danger of being euthanized at local shelters due to overcrowding. We believe in placing dogs in homes, not kennels, which is why we rely on a network of dedicated fosters to help us save lives! We desperately need your help by providing them with a loving and caring home until they can be adopted! We'll provide you with everything else - vet care, a bed, food, treats, toys, a leash, collar AND we'll even pay you! We especially need fosters right now who can take in dogs that must be the ONLY pet in the household.
Being accepted into our foster program is an extremely rewarding experience - you get to help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at a shelter and at the same time provide us with valuable information on their unique personalities to help find us find them their forever homes!
What we need from you:
-Must be 21+ (if under 21, must have parent approval)
-Must be able to foster for at least 4 weeks - but if you can only do 2, we'll take that too!
-Have reliable transportation and be able to bring them to and from our adoption events in West Hollywood, held every other Saturday, and be able to take them to a vet of our choice.
-Must be comfortable with big breeds! We're a bully breed rescue, most of our precious pups weigh 50-90 pounds. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IF YOU CAN ONLY DO SMALL DOGS.
-Must be able to start immediately
-Must have already discussed fostering with all landlords/managers/spouses/roommates etc. and have their confirmed approval, please don't contact us without it!
Please contact us if you can help us save lives!!!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs.
Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs, enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
We'll work with your schedule.
