Please help us grow the museum. We are seeking volunteers for all aspects of the museum. We are needing volunteers to help during business hours of 9 to 4 Saturdays and Sundays. We need help in our garden railroad area, our vehicle area, model train area, full size train crew, depot, train maintenance, and grounds maintenance.
We also need many volunteers for our special events, Halloween Spooktrackular and our Christmas event.

Mission Statement
The Texas Transportation Museum is a volunteer led organization that collects, preserves and displays historically significant transportation equipment and related items. We operate a working passenger railroad, several model train layouts and many road vehicles. We provide an educational and entertaining experience which interprets how developments in transportation technology shaped and continue to impact daily life.
Description
The Texas Transportation Museum has been in San Antonio since 1964. It has been at its present site since 1968. We are 100% volunteer run. We are seeking volunteers and donations for all areas of our museum.
