Haunt the Zoo 2019 is the OKC Zoo's 36th annual trick-or-treating event. We are seeking volunteers to help pass out treats to the participants on Oct 19, 20, 26, and 27. Volunteers serve a shift of about 3-4 hours (8:15am-12pm, 11:15am-2pm, or 1:15pm-5pm). Volunteers for this event receive a free Zoo admission ticket, service hour documentation, and prize opportunities. Volunteers can be as young as 8 years old, so this event is perfect for families, youth groups, and students needing to complete community service hours for school.

Description
The OKC Zoological Park & Botanical Garden was established in 1904. We have over 375 species of animals and about 5,300 individual plants and are accredited by many organizations, including the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Additionally we participate in a variety of conservation projects to benefit animals and habitats around the world. Furthermore, our staff are dedicated to providing engaging educational opportunities for our guests to motivate them to take action to preserve the natural world.

- Volunteers must sign a waiver and provide an emergency contact for the date of the session. Youth volunteers must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian and those under 16 must have a chaperone.
