Catholic Charities offers community meals at their kitchen and is looking for a lead cook to head up the meal time one evening each month with the opportunity to help out more as schedules allow. Head cooks lead a group of 4-5 volunteers to make sure recipes and safety codes are followed. It is a great way to meet other volunteers and residents and meets a critical need of feeding those who are hungry in our community. If you have cooking skills and feel confident in a kitchen this could be a great way to get involved!

Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
