Teach saxophone or keyboard to a refugee teen
ORGANIZATION: Bethany Christian Services
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are seeking a volunteer to spend 1 hour a week teaching a refugee foster care teenager the basics of playing the saxophone or keyboard. It is likely that the instructor would need to bring their own instrument, although there may be an accessible piano/keyboard.
This youth is a 17-year-old from Guatemala. His recreational therapist shared the following about him: "The youth is a very bright and enthusiastic young man, he is always smiling, and he enjoys learning new things. He is really excited to learn an instrument, specifically saxophone and keyboard. He speaks Spanish, and is currently learning English as well."
