Looking for an opportunity to volunteer this September? Sign up for the Native Plant Festival volunteers: https://volunteer.fairfaxcounty.gov/custom/1380/#/opp_details/185055
Volunteers will join Ellanor C. Lawrence Park staff as we educate the public on the importance of native plants on September 7th, from 9-2pm. You may help with set up and clean up. You may also choose to engage the public through invasive plant pulls, games and hands on activities.
Volunteers 15 years and younger must have an accompanying adult.
Minimum age: 13
Time Commitment: 2 hours preferred

REQUIREMENTS
- Volunteers are welcomed to work any length of shifts. We need assistance for set up, clean up, arts and crafts, and other activities such as invasive plant pulls.
- If you are interested in an invasive plant pull, please wear long sleeves, pants and sturdy shoes. We will provide gloves and tools.
