The CareGivers Needs your help!
We're currently looking for volunteers to call Caring Cupboard clients and take their monthly food orders.
Volunteers call clients in advance of each delivery, so that they can select the food that they need from the Caring Cupboard inventory. This allows every client to pick the items that they want each month, giving them the ability to get the food they need and to continue to cook how they want to cook and eat what they want to eat. This helps our clients to preserve their independence.
We have an online inventory system that allows orders to be placed remotely, so calls can be made from your own home, using your own phone and computer. Calls can also be performed during afternoons and evenings and during the weekend, so you're not tied to the hours that our office is open.

Description
The CareGivers, Inc. has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years. We are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.
We recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Our programs and services, all free of charge, help vulnerable individuals remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.
