Novant Health Hospice is looking for volunteers to assist our nursing staff at the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Medical Center!
This role will consist of responding to call bells and relaying patient needs to nurses, answering calls at the nurse's station, greeting families, and assisting with any other tasks as needed by nursing staff.
Shifts are required weekly, if possible, but times are flexible based on your schedule.
** No clinical experience is required **
**Please note: the covid-19 vaccine is required by Novant Health in order to volunteer at this time. Religious or medical exemption forms may be submitted if applicable**

We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
