If you enjoy talking on the phone and have time to make a few phone calls, you may be a perfect Bereavement Telephone Assurance (BTAP) Volunteer. VITAS BTAP volunteers make phone calls to bereaved family members after the hospice patient's death.
These short phone calls can go a long way in making a difference in the lives of those coping with grief. Use your compassion, your listening skills and your time, enhanced by no-cost training and coaching from VITAS.
Hours are flexible and calls can be made from your home.
