Go Clean Energy Conference

ORGANIZATION: 350Deschutes

On October 3rd, we will be holding our annual Go Clean Energy Conference, at Trinity Church in downtown Bend. We’re actively recruiting volunteers to help out on the day of the conference. Commit to volunteering for 4 hours and admission to the entire conference is free!

General volunteer tasks will include set up and break down, checking in guests, directing speakers and vendors to their rooms, setting out food for lunch and social hour, and generally making sure things go smoothly. We’re also looking for a couple people with an alcohol servers license, and a few folks with tech skills to help with sessions and make sure they stay within their time slots.

This conference draws people from business, government, NGOs and other organizations - volunteering is a great way to network, make connections and learn from success stories and challenges overcome. There will be multiple sessions focused on green building and development, and we’ll hear about sustainability at the city level, solutions for small to medium businesses, financing for projects, and the effort to bring clean energy and efficiency upgrades to low income communities.
