During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
The Serra House Drop-in Center in South Tacoma is open to youth aged 13-25 from 2-5pm Monday through Friday as a safe space to hangout, take a hot shower, get supplies from our clothing closet, and connect with our case managers.
We are looking for an experienced guitar player or teacher to come a few times a month to offer guitar lessons for our youth. Ted Brown Music graciously donated four electric guitars and two amps, and we've gathered a few acoustic guitars. It would be great to have a teacher that could volunteer for 30-60mins at least twice a month, and up to once a week.
Please email Carey Davies if interested at email@example.com to set up a time to meet.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

"The Coffee Oasis exists to impact communities through economic, social and spiritual transformation"
In our programs, our aim is to take hope to the streets and meet youth where they are at, building relationships, hear their stories and walk alongside them in reaching goals and siezing opportunities so that they may live healthy, fulfilled lives. We do this by:
-Going on outreach in schools and on the streets
- Having Oasis Centers where youth can come, hang out, be known and building relationships.
-Providing emergency resources, showers and laundry
-Offering job training, tutoring, menoring and other opportunities for change through case management
-Staffing a Teen Shelter as a place of refuge and hope
We'll work with your schedule.
