Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back and are interested in volunteering with Hospice? We want you! Volunteers are an extremely integral part of Encompass Hospice and the end-of-life care we provide.
We are currently looking for direct patient volunteers who provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers & family members. This can include the following:
-Providing companionship & socializing with our patients in their own homes or assisted living facilities.
-Playing games, watching TV, reading to the patient, playing music/listening to music with the patient, or simply visiting with the patient.
-Providing caregiver relief where you spend time with the patient in their home and allow the primary caregiver to leave and attend doctor's appointments, run errands, etc.
We are always flexible with your schedule and want to make sure you're comfortable with your placement before beginning your hospice volunteer journey with us.
