Provides crisis counseling to victims at area hospitals and via phone usitilizing the Crisis Line. Acts as on call advocate for evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. Responds to area hospitals and law enforcement centers to provide face-to-face counseling to victims and their families. Completes all necessary paperwork for hospital response. Follows all Coalition policies and procedures for volunteer victim assistance. Opportunities available in Florence, Marlboro, Chesterfield, Dillon, Darlington, Williamsburg, Marion, and Clarendon Counties.

Mission Statement
The Pee Dee Coalition is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the reduction of rape, family violence, and child abuse and to the needs of its victims.
Description
The Pee Dee Coalition was organized in 1986 and has expanded into seven Pee Dee counties including Florence, Darlington, Marion, Chesterfield, Marlboro, Dillon, and Williamsburg. Satellite Centers are located in each of these counties where services are available 24-hours a day.
Pee Dee Coalition is a non-profit, volunteer supported organization dedicated to the reduction of rape, family violence, and child abuse and meeting the needs of victims. The Coalition is one of 15 domestic violence programs and 16 rape crisis centers in South Carolina and is the only organization that addresses all three of the interpersonal violence issues identified above.
