We are currently seeking compassionate and upbeat volunteers to assist with weekday activities at our skilled nursing facility. Volunteers are asked to arrive 45 min prior to start in order to set up and help transport residents to the activity area. Activities go from 10:30-noon and again from 3- about 5 pm. You can choose between the morning and afternoon activities.
We will need 2-3 volunteers per activity. There will be activities such as bingo, word games/puzzles, trivia, card/board games, etc. Upon expressing interest, you will be emailed an activity calendar so you can specify which activities/dates you are most interested in. We do ask that you commit to coming to volunteer at least 1x per month in order to remain an active volunteer at our facility.
