Join us every Saturday starting in November 2020 - May of 2021 at The St. Pete Saturday Morning Market. We are looking for Front Sales position as well as Cooks and Food Prep positions.

Your time makes a positive and lasting impact on the African community and benefits other APEDF community, youth, economic development, and educational programs.

Everyone can be part of a positive future - join African People's Education and Defense Fund and Black Star Industries building new economic development projects for self-determination, stopping gentrification, uplifting and empowering the entire African community.

Front Sales Position

• Give our customers the best possible experience at our booth
• Be courteous, energetic and enthusiastic; you are the "ambassador" of Uhuru Foods to the public
• Keep the spirit up in the booth.
• Ring bell for donations, put forward customers who make good donations.
• Be able to handle money.
• Move the line quickly but efficiently.
• Handle customer issues by being empathetic and sincere.
• Help recruit future volunteers or supporters.

• Pie sales and Promotions (including staffing markets and other distribution sites- seeking drivers also)
• Social Media and Promotions
• Pie Mixing, Baking, and Boxing at Uhuru House before markets and before Holidays.
