Help families living with a mental health condition move from helpless to hopeful.

NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley offers nationally-developed education and support programs that create meaningful change for families supporting a loved one living with a mental health condition. We're looking for family members who have supported a youth or an adult living with mental illness.

Our "secret sauce" is families helping families understand how to better advocate for their loved one. Our programs teach coping and communication skills and provide information on what mental illness is. Many of our programs are evidence based and federal-agency approved.

Participants in our programs often tell us how NAMI truly changes their lives. Watch our video:

We offer training at no cost to you for a volunteer commitment to teach an education program or facilitate a support group. NAMI GMV covers eastern Iowa counties and in western Illinois - Henry, Rock Island and Mercer Counties. Please ask for more information to Vicki Walters, Education Coordinator, Your inquiry is confidential.
