Role description: The champion will be there to encourage program participants on their journey but has no responsibility to guide or direct in any way. This person will call clients who have received WWCM services to check in and follow up on how they're doing.
Skills needed: non-judgmental, encouraging, able to manage a schedule & utilize Google Calendar.
Training will be provided in: client interaction training, optional mental health first aid
Expectations of volunteers: Flexible weekly volunteer commitment. Attend trainings as scheduled, monthly team meetings, and optional monthly group supervision
