Event Description: We are hosting a carnival with games, prizes and treats! This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will be responsible for running games and stations for guests ages 10 and under.
Impact: Volunteers are important to us in that they give us the necessary man-power to pull of a successful event. We could not do it without them.
Work Environment: It will be very busy with a moderate noise level. This event is held in our gymnasium. There will be a restroom on site.
Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer. All volunteers will need to fill out a release form. Those under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.
Special Instructions: We would like for volunteers to wear a solid white shirt and to arrive with lots of energy.
Group Registration Information: Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. A group leader must email mary.owens@raleighnc.gov to register. All groups will be required to provide a list of names and emails for their volunteers.
Per department policy, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed/ suggested community service hours.
