ORGANIZATION: Envision Lead Grow

Become a mentor to young girls at Envision Lead Grow and make a lasting difference in their lives ad communities. Envision Lead Grow's mission is to increase the rate of entrepreneurship and break the cycle of poverty for middle school girls in underserved communities throughout the United States.
This year, Envision Lead Grow is serving 600 girls from 30 states across the USA. Each girl is able to participate in f-parts of this scholarship program at 100% no cost to her or her family. The 4 parts of the program include: a week-long sleepaway camp, 7-month mentoring support, monthly webinars and assignments, and an end-of-the-year Institute.
The monthly mentor support is a vital part of the Envision Lead Grow program. We are looking for dedicated, female role models, with a passion to volunteer as an ELG mentor and make a lasting difference. As an Envision Lead Grow mentor, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the life of a deserving young girl boss. Whether you are an entrepreneur or not, your support will guide the next generation of female leaders and trailblazers. Become a part of the ELG family today!
As an Envision Lead Grow mentor, you will be expected to partake in the full 2019-2020 cohort year. Mentor session sbegin in September 2019 and continue through March 2020. Mentors must commit to meeting at least 2 hours with a group of 1-3 girl bosses.

Description

We are a Norfolk-based non-profit passionate about entrepreneurship. We introduce underserved middle school girls to entrepreneurship through summer camps, webinars, mentoring and conferences. We are on a mission to end the cycle of poverty through entrepreneurship.
