We're looking for an experienced and innovative social media volunteer team player - someone who is both passionate about working in the social space, wants to help to save the lives of homeless animals and promote Pets Alive’s mission.

• Post, monitor, and day-to-day community management of Pets Alive social networks (including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
• Engage members and potential supporters in positive, thoughtful online conversations about the organization, our campaigns, web stories, events, and videos
• Write and help curate creative, engaging content for sharing among Pets Alive’s social media spaces.
• Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
• Strong creative writing skills
• Experience with social management platforms
• Experience with creating short videos, photographs, and other digital assets for social audiences
• The ideal candidate would be organized, self-motivated, creative, resourceful, professional, upbeat, energetic, collaborative (thrives in a distributed team structure), flexible, and able to take both initiative and direction
• Passionate interest and experience in animal welfare preferred
