A non-profit medical respite organization, located in Richmond, VA--to provide Healthcare4Homeless is seeking dedicated, innovative individuals lend their professional expertise in providing health care to indigent individuals of Richmond, VA. You must have a passion for helping those less fortunate whom are uninsured and/or underinsured. We are seeking advisory consults, clinical mentoring, educational sessions and providers who would like to roll up their sleeves and have fun making a difference in a positive impactful way in the lives of others in a low key--"non-numbers" driven environment--doing what you enjoy most practicing nursing, medicine, pharmacology, social work and so much more.

Our Vision: "To end homelessness."

What We Do: We provide healthcare to homeless persons in Richmond, VA that are too ill to live on the streets or shelter-in-place situations.

We are Driven By: Our desire to combat social and economic injustices of healthcare disparities.

Ideal Candidate:

Newly retired, semi-retired, in industry, or in clinical practice

Have a minimum of five years of clinical practice experience

Have been active in the medical community in the past two years

Have an active or volunteer U.S. medical license (any state)

Willing to obtain and maintain current malpractice policy

Are able to provide three professional references

Are willing to commit a minimum of eight flexible hours per month for six months
