Bring your nursing skills and interest in serving Baltimore’s city public health needs in a hands-on community setting to the Paul’s Place Nurses’ Clinic. The clinic is a vital part of the Pigtown neighborhood in Southwest Baltimore that is dedicated to providing support and encouragement for our adult patients to identify their health issues and goals and to ensure they receive access to the best possible health care.
Working in a team based approach, we assess health and wellness issues for both short-term and long-term solutions to a wide range of medical, mental health, substance abuse, and clinical case management needs. We use Trauma Informed Care principles, and provide a setting that treats each patient with dignity, respect, and consideration to support their personal situation.
The Nurses’ Clinic needs volunteers each Wednesday from 10:30AM to 2:30PM. Volunteering requires an active Maryland or compact state nursing license as well as an active CPR certificate. You will work in tandem with a trained staff member and all equipment is provided. Volunteer as your schedule allows, as a working RN or in retirement with current licensing. It’s a great chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of your city!
