We are quickly approaching our next volunteer training session, August 24th from 10am - 1pm here at The Long Center. Our address is 701 W. Riverside Dr. Parking for the training will be in the service yard which is the gated entrance located to the right of the public garage. Drive up to the service yard gate & call our Security team on the call box. Once you park, exit the service yard through the pedestrian gate by the main drive gate. Enter our building through the lower level. Our meeting space will be in the AT&T room on the lower level. Please be prompt as we will need to lock the doors at 10am to start our training. I do recommend to bring a sweater as often the building is a little chilly. We will have coffee & snacks available. Would you please RSVP by Tuesday 8/20, so we can plan for materials, snacks & setup. Attach please find the updated Basic Information for Ushers & an application form. You may either send in your application early to the address or fax @ below, or bring a completed one to the training. Looking very forward to meeting everyone.

Description
The Long Center is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose performance venue with a 2400 seat concert hall and a 230 seat studio theatre. This center will be the new hub of the Austin arts scene, as the symphony, opera and ballet will soon call it their permanent home. Many other local theatre/arts groups will also enjoy our state-of-the art facility.
