Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters is seeking a Big Sister (25-45 year old) with interest or employment in STEM to mentor a 16 year old girl who immigrated to the Boston area and has been waiting for over a year to be matched. "Maddy" also enjoys baking and cooking and likes to make cookies for her friends. She is considering a future in technology/software engineering and would like help with her high school coding class. Maddy would like to read a book with her BIG and then discuss it. She wants to improve her volleyball game and spend time talking with her BIG. Maddy's favorite food is spaghetti!
The Big Sister need not be Jewish and would agree to meet with Maddy 2x/mo for 2-4 hours, mostly on the weekends, and make a year commitment.
