Throughout its 20-year history, Artscope has been through seasons of change and growth by a dedicated Board of Directors. We are looking to add to our team to help grow, enhance, and spread Artscope’s mission to the greater St. Louis area.
The Board is comprised of dedicated professionals from throughout the greater Saint Louis community with a varied background of experiences. Our desire is to continue to build our board membership to help structure and set the organization up for success into the future.
Our organization is dedicated to fostering emotional well-being, practicing intentional inclusivity, and inspiring environmental harmony through imaginative art, dialogue, and visionary play. Through our art camps, community programs, and in school teaching artists, we help kids learn the power of creativity and self-expression.
Our Board of Directors is elected on an ongoing basis throughout the year, and each director serves for a minimum two-year term. Directors at minimum participate in leading or sitting on a committee, gathering in kind or monetary donations through annual efforts, and participate in regular monthly board meetings.
At this time, we're especially interested in candidates with skillsets in elementary education, community arts programs, grant writing, community organizing, donor cultivation and/or development and fundraising, HR and employment, and individuals that can help Artscope expand its relationship with the many communities throughout Saint Louis area.
If you are an active community member and dedicated professional passionate about helping young people in St. Louis access high-quality arts experiences, we are eager to meet you!More opportunities with Artscope
