Please join us for our 23rd Annual Holiday Home Tour! This is a fun volunteering opportunity you don't want to miss. The Annual Holiday Home Tour highlights beautiful homes within the Ypsilanti area designed especially for the holidays. After the home tour guests are invited to attend our afterglow reception. This year it will take place at the: Firehouse Museum located in Depot Town.
We have a variety of shifts available:
noon-4:00 pm (Set/Decorate venue/homes)
4:00-7:00 pm (Volunteer as a chief guide, welcome guests, and mingle)
7:00-10:30 pm (Volunteer as a server, food runner, greeter, donation tables)
P.S volunteers who help during the earlier shifts will be invited to the Afterglow reception to participate in the festivities
Individuals and Groups are encouraged to sign up.
This is an evening volunteer event for adults.

Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals and social contact for the homebound elderly, ill and disabled in eastern Washtenaw County to enable them to live in a healthier, safer, and more independent manner.
Description
Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels has been around for 45 years. We focus on helping the elderly age safely in their home and our amount of clients continue to grow. Monday-Saturday we deliver meals to our clients and provide a safety check with a smile. We are soon beginning a model called CAPABLE which will offer our clients resources to improve mobility. As the need continues to grow so does the need of having volunteers to help with coverage.
Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels has been working with volunteers since the start of the organization. Our volunteers play a vital role in our mission. Our volunteers assist with meal deliveries to our clients, help with office & administrative tasks, help with special events, and other tasks as they come available.
Our organization offers multiple volunteering opportunities to make your experience a memory you won't forget.
