Keep Manassas Beautiful is looking for a group of volunteers to help us remove litter from three of our busiest areas: Godwin Drive, Liberia Avenue, and Centreville Road. The volunteer commitment is for 6 clean-ups per year over two years.

If you can spare the time, we will supply the vests, gloves, litter pickers and bags to help with your clean-up. We will also post an Adopt a Street sign with your group name to let everyone know who to thank for helping keep Manassas beautiful.

About Keep Manassas Beautiful

Mission Statement

Keep Manassas Beautiful is a citizen-led program designed to inspire and educate residents of the City of Manassas to take action every day to improve and beautify our community environment through the following actions: Foster wider awareness that putting an end to littering and improving beautification and waste reduction is a shared responsibility between residents and the City of Manassas. Work in collaboration with community organizations, businesses, homeowners associations, and other groups to empower volunteers to take action to help make the City of Manassas safer, cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing.

In 2017, Keep Manassas Beautiful (KMB) became an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.

In 2018, our volunteers collected more than 2,925 lbs of trash through regular clean-up activities.

KMB works with volunteers who adopt streets, streams, parks, fields and historic sites. We have over 121 volunteer groups doing weekly, monthly and seasonal clean-ups.

Our belief is that everyone who enjoys our community should feel empowered to be a good steward of our beautiful Manassas. When residents, groups, and businesses volunteer their time by adopting a portion of our city and keeping it litter-free, they beautify our environment and improve the health and safety of our public spaces.

In exchange, for a commitment to undertake six clean-up activities per year, KMB supplies signs, litter pickers, vests, and trash bags to help with clean-ups and support volunteer activity.

We'll work with your schedule.
