EFN

Encore Fellowships provide paid engagements for people wishing to transition to an encore career in the non profit sector. A major Silicon Valley city's Department of Public Works (PW) is seeking an Encore Fellow to develop change management in preparation for an employee development and training program for the staff involved in the delivery of the City’s capital/construction projects. Traditionally, employee training has been handled through knowledge transfer from supervisor to employee and peer-to-peer. Moving forward, the department is committed to establishing a more centralized training team and sees the Encore Fellow as the ideal person to bridge the gap between now and when this training team can ultimately be established. The Fellow will understand how a formal training program will impact culture and employees and identify how to establish the change needed.
