Event Description:

Step into the wonder and beauty of butterflies, insects, spiders and their other many-legged friends! Your little bugaboos will be able to play games, create spook-tacular crafts and take home lots of loot after they visit our many hand-painted Treat Houses. Spy on the amazing owl butterfly, which are only active during dusk and dawn. When tummies rumble, guests will munch on a spook-tacular spread that will include themed menu items such as creepy pizza fingers, scream cheese, petrifying pastries, eerie pudding, frightful fruit, pumpkin punch, and much more! Families end the evening dancing to Monster Jams at the Bug Ball. Admission into the Butterfly House, activities, light refreshments, crafts, treats, and goody bags are included in the event ticket price.

Applicants under 18 must have their parent/legal guardian complete a Parent/Legal Guardian Consent Form in order to volunteer for Booterflies.

You will be stationed inside and/or outside the Butterfly House. Some stations are in the event tent, which is partially climate controlled. Your assignment is to:

• Help monitor the entrance and exit of the butterfly conservatory.
• Assist children with crafts, games and educational activities. Some of these will be indoors, and others outdoors.
• Hand out giveaways at a treat house. Some of these will be indoors, and others outdoors.
• Face-painting
• Assist with concessions
• Provide guests with excellent customer service

*Please dress for the weather if stationed outdoors. In case of rain all outdoor stations will be moved indoors.*
