Are you a Computer Programmer or work in Computer Science? You can volunteer at our Hour of Code events at the Milwaukee Public Library!

With technology changing every industry on the planet, computing knowledge has become part of a well-rounded skill set. But fewer than half of all schools teach computer science! To help fix this problem, our Hour of Code sessions gives local teens the opportunity to have fun and learn the basics of computer programming all in one hour sessions.

Volunteers will work one-on-one or in small sessions with teen students, helping them complete the assigned coding challenge. The volunteer commitment for each program will run approximately 2-2.5 hours in total and volunteers are welcome to signup for whichever dates work best for them.
