Single parents have a powerful story to tell and that story is currently not being told. If social media/marketing is your thing, we are looking for you! We are seeking a dynamic social media/marketing team who can help us tell our story and the stories of the families we serve. We want to share the successes of the families we help as well as highlight the challenges they face. We would like to bring light to the challenge of single parenting with an emphasis on how hard these families are working on overcoming those challenges. We would like to use a combination of social media, video and print marketing to tell our story.

It is SPARC's Mission to empower and equip single parents with the necessary tools, resources and support to enable them to create a healthy home environment and nurture their children into productive and successful adults. SPARC Values: Single parents who are willing to take the extra steps necessary to ensure their children receive what they need. Communities that value single parent families, recognize their special needs and are committed to ensuring that those needs are met. Individuals who are willing to volunteer to stand in the gap and help fill the void left by a missing parent. It is SPARC's Vision that single parents will be empowered and equipped to take their place among society's most successful families!
Description
The Single Parent Alliance & Resource Center (SPARC) was incorporated as a community based non profit 501(c)3 agency in 2001. Since its inception, it has worked diligently to improve the lives of single parent families in its community. SPARC is dedicated to supporting single parents in their efforts to raise happy, healthy, well adjusted, successful children.
Additionally, SPARC has launched an afterschool program located at the Bradford Gwinnett Apartment Homes in Norcross, GA. The SPARC Kids Academy serves students in grades K-5, Monday through Friday from 3-6 pm. Its focus is on academic achievement, with an emphasis on homework help, skill building, and enrichment. In addition, because of the success of the afterschool program, it also offers The SPARC Kids Summer Academy, a full-day academic enrichment summer camp offered for eight weeks, Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
SPARC also offers several programs for single parents including support groups, parent support, leadership development and Achievement Clubs designed to reward parents for achieving goals.
