The Alzheimer's Association of Dallas & Northeast Texas is looking for a Committee Co-Chair. The Co-Chair assists the Committee Chair in recruiting and training the Volunteer Committee, with a special focus on hosting the Kickoff Events, Post-Event thank you party, & Volunteer Orientation. They establish relationships with the subcommittee chairs, set committee meeting dates and locations, and maintain regular communication with the Committee Chair & Subcommittee Chairs.

The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 22, 2020, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's disease through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This is a DIY event that allows the Alzheimer's Association to increase awareness and funding for the cure.
