The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a fun, inspiring, colorful and family-friendly fundraising event for the non-profit Alzheimer's Association Western New York. We'd love to hear from both professional and amateur photographers who want to make an impact in our fight for the first survivor of Alzheimer's disease.
Some 3,500 people will attend our event along the water, providing ample opportunity to showcase your talents and skills for capturing the spirit, color and poignancy of our outdoor event (rain or shine!).
We'll share your photos with credit on social media and in our printed publications. You will also be credited in the day-of program and in verbal remarks.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s.
Description
We provide programs and services to those with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia and their families. The Western New York Chapter serves all eight counties of WNY including Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans and Wyoming. We provide care consultations, a 24-hour helpline (1.800.272.3900), safety services, early stage programs, and education programs for caregivers, healthcare professionals and the general public. The Alzheimer's Association is also the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research. Together, we are elevating research, public policy, and awareness to unprecedented levels in pursuit of better treatments, a cure of a way to prevent Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
