ORGANIZATION: Pet Resource Center of Kansas City

Do you have great computer skills? Want to put those skills to use to help our clinic run smoothly? Then YOU will make a great fit as a Data Entry Volunteer at Spay and Neuter Kansas City!

Duties include:

  • Accessing client accounts in our Avimark database to enter treatments ordered for that day.
  • Attach requested items to the order form and deliver it to the Veterinarian on duty.
  • Help ensure the safety and comfort of clients and pets by monitoring pet behavior.

Shifts are self scheduled and on our calendar as follows:
  • Tuesday through Friday
    • 9am - 12pm
    • 12pm - 3pm
  • Saturday
    • 9am - 12pm

Volunteers are asked to donate 3 hours per month, though we encourage Data Entry Volunteers to schedule shifts more often to keep Avimark skills fresh.

Our mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention, and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Description

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2002. We're the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area, working to help all families in need regardless of financial means. Our unique approach provides exceptional customer service and high standards of care through commitment to our core values.

We educate and assist families to improve their pet's quality of life, increase the animal-human-bond and make long term positive impacts in our community and animal welfare.

We pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness, and resources to help their pets live a long, healthy and happy life.
