Grace Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in our office with simple office duties. We need help with sorting, scanning, filing, checking in supplies and other general office items. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 - 5. If you have wanted to give back in a meaningful way but not be in direct contact with a hospice patient this is the perfect opportunity. Please contact us through the volunteer match link or go to our website www.ghospice.com. We hope to hear from you soon!
About Grace Hospice of Norfolk
236 Clearfield AVe, Suite 217, Virginia Beach, VA 23462, US
For each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of day, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing
Hospice care is not just for the patient. It also provides emotional support for the entire family. Hospice is a philosophy of caring for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose not to seek agressive medical care at the end stage of life. Our program is for patients who are considered terminal and are expected to live six months or less if the desease follows its natural course, although many patients outlive this time frame. Our philosophy focuses on comfort care not currative care. Our goal is for the patient to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. We also serve patients who are living in long-term and assisted living facilities.
We'll work with your schedule.
