We are looking for two people that could dress to be Sandy and Danny from Grease for our upcoming Gala on August 24 th 2019. The Gala theme this year is James BOND, but at the end of the night we always have our theme picked out for next year, which is Grease. We are looking for two people that would stand by a classic car, and pass out gifts/thanks you to all guests who leave the event and would be dressed as Sandy and Danny to get people excited about next year’s theme. If interested/available please email samantha@aguahedionda.org. Outfits not provided, but if need be could. Sandy would be simple in black leather pants or jeans, black shirt, hoop earrings, red lipstick. Danny in jeans that are rolled, white shirt, greased hair. Dinner provided upon arrival at 8pm. Not in position until 8:45pm.
Our annual Gala’s allow us to raise money to support our missions and programs. It is our largest fundraising event helping us continue to provide environmental education to over 8,750 students across San Diego and keep our nature center doors open.

Mission Statement
The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation (AHLF) was established as a non-profit corporation in 1990 to conserve, restore and enhance the environmental features of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon, marsh, wetlands, and watershed areas. The AHLF operates the lovely Lagoon Discovery Center at 1580 Cannon Road in Carlsbad, where they holds numerous environmental educational programming every year.
Description
The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's objective is to:
-Advocate for the lagoon, promoting and assuring future lagoon vitality
-Promote balanced recreational and commercial uses of the lagoon and wetlands
-Provide strong support for public access, trails and recreational opportunities
-Develop and promote, through The Lagoon Discovery Center, educational programs to enhance community and visitor awareness and understanding of water resource and watershed-related environmental issues.
