Greetings!
Our Hospice organization is looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers for our terminally ill patients. As a volunteer you will provide bedside care to patients to help with loneliness and anxiety. This is a great position for anyone who is looking to gain experience in this field or may just have some available time to spare!
Requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must complete medical screening
-Must complete a background check
-Must complete HR personnel forms
-Must complete training and orientation

Mission Statement
Hospice Volunteer Training is a program where we select qualified persons who can fit well with patients who have a terminal illness through several organizations. We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
