Wood Working Teacher- Skilled Volunteer

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Little City

The Little City Recreation Department has received a donation from Home Depot for wood working supplies for projects that can be done with our participants. A skilled woodworker that could teach a class would be ideal, but anyone that has worked with building bird feeders and other small wood projects would be a great fit as well. Because Little City is dedicated to serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a volunteer that has worked around those with disabilities is required.

We will start with a two month commitment, beginning in November. The woodworking class would be on ONE Wednesday each month, from 6pm-8pm. The specific Wednesday that the class will take place will be at the wood working teachers discretion and availability.
