Event Description:
The BIG Give has become the annual event that brings Austin together to celebrate giving back while having a great time! This event serves as I Live Here I Give Here's annual fundraiser.
Volunteer Needs:
BIG Give volunteers to arrive at the I Live Here I Give Here fundraiser at Hotel Van Zandt at 605 Davis Street, Austin, Texas 78701. Volunteers should expect to arrive at 5:00pm and for the event to end at 10:30pm for a total of 6 hours (there will be a 30 minute to 1-hour break with food provided). Volunteers are responsible for their own street parking downtown (we would recommend parking in a parking garage) or public transportation to the venue.
Job description:
Volunteers will help with registration check-in and activities for the fundraiser event. This volunteer role will support Live Here I Give Here staff with greeting & checking in guests upon arrival, collecting payment for activities and other miscellaneous tasks for guest check-in/check-out at the BIG Give.
Previous experience with galas or fundraisers a plus, and must enjoy greeting and being gracious to event attendees (our special stakeholders!).
