Musician Dinner:assistance needed to help set-up/tear-down and serve food to musicians at Sherwood Hall in Salinas on Friday nights of Concert Weekend throughout the season (October 18, November 15, February 14, March 13, April 17 and May 15). Some lifting and climbing stairs included.
Concert Weekend: assistance needed to help set up promotional materials and Pre-Concert events (October 19 & 20, November 16 & 17, February 15 & 16, March 14 & 15, April 18 & 19 and May 16 & 17). Considerable walking included. Youth Concerts: assistance needed to usher students into and out of Sherwood Hall/Sunset Center for the Monday morning concerts in October 21 (Sherwood), March 16 (Sunset), April 20(Sunset) and May 18 (Sherwood). Considerable walking, climbing stairs and kid-herding included.

Description
The Monterey Symphony’s first performance was April 1947. Since then, the Monterey Symphony has performed live classical music to thousands throughout Monterey County, employed hundreds of musicians, featured many inspiring and internationally-renowned guest artists and introduced tens of thousands of students to orchestral music through free youth concerts, school visits and in-school demonstrations.
