About us:
We’re an independent non-profit agency that builds, develops, acquires, and manages low- and moderate-income housing in Palo Alto and the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide high-quality, safe housing; subsidize rents to the greatest degree possible, and support our residents in reaching their goals through our Resident Services program. We are searching for volunteers to help us strengthen our services and further our mission!

JR. YOUTH LEADER: 1 afternoon per week, Monday-Thursday from 3:15 - 4:45 pm or Wednesday 2:30-4:15 pm.
Come to one of our sites and be a role model for youth (grades 1-5) by supporting academic time, playing games, and co-leading activities.
Our ideal volunteer:
- Has experience with children in grades 1-5
- Is positive, patient, and caring

Description
Alta manages over 700 units of affordable housing for low-income families and seniors. Alta strives to provide service enriched housing to its residents by offering a comprehensive services program. We provide resources, art classes, ESL classes, computer training, and afterschool programs in addition to community-building activities.
